本年、２０２２年度第１4回大会の学会発表エントリーを開始します。
大会発表をお考えの会員は、エントリーのお申し出を宜しくお願い致します。
なお、大会までの今後のスケジュールは以下のように予定されています。

小寒 第六十九候 雉始雊（きじはじめてなく）
雉は日本の国鳥として古くから日本人に親しまれ、彩りの美しい羽毛が特徴です。
春に向かおうとするこの時期から繁殖のため頻繁に鳴き声をあげるそうですが、
その鳴き声はおろか姿は昨今では、なかなか見ることは叶いませんね。
さて、今年度大会の会期日程が下記のとおり決定致しましたので
ご報告申し上げます。

開催形式：オンライン大会（ホスト理事未定）
日程スケジュール：

PM 時間学公開学術シンポジウム
（ 藤澤健太時間学研究所長の宇宙関連のシンポが予定されています。）
６月19日（日）AM 総会
PM セッションⅡ セッションⅢ
※ 大会スケジュールは今後の状況に応じて変更される可能性があります。
※ 理事会は、事前にオンラインで開催する予定です。

新年明けましておめでとうございます。本年もどうぞよろしくお願いいたします。
さて、今年度開催予定の国際大会に関してお知らせ申し上げます。
新型コロナウイルスのオミクロン株の世界的な流行が懸念されるなか、
昨年末にISST理事会からの提案を協議するため、日本時間学会理事会を緊急招集し、
ISST国際時間学会日本大会（山口大学）開催を1年延期することを了承し、
正式決定を致しました。
この決定に伴い、会期を２０２３年７月2日（日）～7日（金）に変更致します。
既に国際大会での学会発表の予定を組んでいらっしゃる会員には大変申し訳
ありませんが、ご理解の程宜しくお願い申し上げます。
ISSTのタン事務局長より下記のメッセージを頂戴しましたのでご報告致します。

Dear Colleagues,
Regretfully, we must inform you that, after consultation with our colleagues in the Japanese Society for Time Studies, we will be postponing our eighteenth ISST conference from 2022 to July 2-7. 2023. Because of surging Covid-19 variants, Japan currently prohibits most foreign nationals from entering the country, and the ongoing uncertainty about when restrictions will be lifted renders advance conference-planning difficult, if not impossible. Even if restrictions were to ease by summer 2022, it is likely that Japan would require entering foreign nationals to observe a 14-day quarantine, which would impose a hardship on conference attendees.
We realize that this news is disappointing. We realize, too, that some of you who planned on presenting papers or installations in 2022 may not be able to do so in 2023, and, if this is the case, we would appreciate your letting us know as soon as possible. Considering the high quality of the proposals submitted, we hope that most of you will be able to attend in 2023 and contribute to the stimulating intellectual atmosphere. If you could kindly drop me a line until January 31, 2022, whether you still plan to participate or not, this would be greatly appreciated.
With regard to the election of the new council, the ISST Constitution (2013) specifies the following: “Elections will normally be held during the year of each conference. All members of the society will be polled by the Executive Secretary, and the decisions will be by simple majority of those voting. Members of the Council and Officers of the Society shall take office at the end of the conference following the election and shall serve until the end of the next conference” (Article VII-2). Current council-members have thus agreed to serve until the next conference takes place. If you are not currently a council-member but have indicated that you would like to run for council, we will put you on the ballot in 2022 unless we hear otherwise. We are continuing to solicit applicants for the position of KronoScope managing editor, a position that is not tied to the conference cycle.

大雪 第六十二候 熊蟄穴（くまあなにこもる）
日本各地からクリスマスのイルミネーションやクリスマス・マーケットの映像が
テレビニュースでも見られるようになりました。
コロナ禍で閑散としていた昨年に比べて、今年の年の瀬は幾分か賑やかな気がします。
さて、学会理事の三池秀敏先生（山口学芸大学・芸術短期大学 学長）から

山々は雪に覆われ、本格的な冬の到来が目に見えて分かる季節が到来しました。
